Mario Tossi - born in 1964, on April 23 in the town of Olinda-PE. The artist to 16 years started his own silkscreen in Rio Grande do Norte, where he learned and perfected some techniques. In 1979 He lived in Altamira-PA.

Left the Amazon after meeting the jungle and its secrets, after an adventure without limits where the artist He has taunted the Amazon jungle, staying for 32 days in a crossing 600 kilometers from Altamira to Belém do Pará, source of inspiration for paintings for several years… Germany was the first foreign country where he lived, and it was precisely in the city of Tübingen, where he exhibited his paintings with Amazon themes and surrealistic paintings.

In 86 went to France (Marseille, Nice and Aix-en-Provence) where he exhibited again for 3 months. The artist returned to Germany, living for over 1 year, improving another language and strengthening their bond with the art and culture of a new country.

In Italy, the birthplace of great artists, chose Florence as the workplace until 1989, where he learned watercolor and in a short period created his own style and became a watercolorist.

Left Italy after more than 3 years and went to live in Maastricht- The Netherlands, where in 9 years, won prizes at competitions in painting, as well as graphics contests. In the year 2000 the artist returned to Brazil, more precisely in Canoa Quebrada, the artist opened the OXENT, a painting and silkscreen Studio where t-shirts were the custom client criteria, in Ceará he held several exhibitions and had a direct contact with foreigners. 

The artist experimented with various techniques and materials, but finally he found on the vinyl base paint a particular trait that became the artist's reference. In 2010, after 12 years the artist left Canoa Quebrada and came to Sao Paulo in search of new windows and experiences.

In June 2011 in recognition of his artistic life and fight for innovations in Brazil Mario Tossi was awarded by one of his works in the "XXV Salão de Artes Plásticas de Arceburgo - MG" with a gold medal for his painting BURNING HEART, which brings a criticism of our Amazon forest fires.

In April 2011 the artist participated in an abstract collective exhibition curated by Oscar D'Ambrósio.

In October 6, 2011 held his first solo exhibition in São Paulo capital, FOCUS MUNDI, where he, the artist could leave a message on the political situation of our beautiful forest wealth. Displays currently in two galleries in São Paulo. PontoArt Gallery-Vila Madalena and Torrego Art Gallery in Campo Belo.

In 2012 he participated in three more exhibitions. In 2013 decided to make company to other artists, exhibiting and painting live on Praça dos Omaguás-Vila Madalena-Sao Paulo. Mario Tossi was awarded again
