Sullivan Gaspar - Was born on November 2, 1927 in the city of São Paulo Capital. Self-taught artist, in 1954 the artist received drawing lessons and oil painting in São Paulo Association of fine arts through teacher SANTE BULLO for a period of two years. From 1956 to 1958 went on to take classes of Brazilian painter JOSÉ RONCOLETTO "Lubra".

In love with rural themes the artists began to take classes of painter DURVAL PEREIRA from São Paulo, who became a great companion on his artistic forays in Beach coastal localities In the State and in historic towns and countryside of Minas Gerais.

In 1960 he met the painter "Malchiaollo" DARIO MECATTI, of which he was a pupil and disciple until the date of his death in 1976, the period in which the artist has learned and practiced many techniques of Italian Impressionism. On November 9, 1976 joined the "group of seven", an exhibition in posthumous tribute to Darius Mecatti. The artist has participated in numerous art exhibitions in São Paulo, was among the artists KRISHAN MONARI and A. E. PASCOTTO 1st Painting Salon of Santa Cruz das Palmeiras.

The artist dominates masterfully oil painting technique, the style "new academic" with a tendency toward impressionism. His favorite themes are the Brazilian landscapes, emphasizing the field, the historic cities, beaches, seaside towns, the simplicity and the daily life of the population of small inland towns. Dedicated to "still life" and the environments, such as interiors of churches or museums.

1957 - Honorable mention in the 22nd Salon Paulista of Belas Artes

1959 - Honorable mention on the 24th São Paulo Hall of fine arts  

1972 - Honorable mention in the 1st Salon of arts at Embu

1975 - Silver medal on the 1st Meeting of art of Ribeirão Pires

1976 - "group of seven" exhibition in posthumous tribute to Darius Mecatti.

1981 - 1st Painting Salon of Santa Cruz das Palmeiras

1982 - Silver medal at 45th Salon Paulista of Belas Artes.
